BLUEPRINT READING & SHIPPING  

Reading blueprints is a basic skill set required to be competitive in the industry. This course will provide the basic understanding of blueprints as they relate to construction projects and warehouse design. At the end of this class you will have the ability to answer basic questions related to the layout and installation of materials in a warehouse. The packaging and shipping of materials is an integral process in Supply Chain Management. In addition to print reading, you will also learn the fundamentals of crating products for shipment. 

SHOP MATH  

This course provides the basic math skills and fundamentals used in the manufacturing industry. The skills gained will be useful to understand blueprints and the production of new parts.

INTRODUCTION TO MACHINING

Provides an overview of how the skills gained in blueprint reading and shop math are implemented in the manufacturing process. In addition, individuals will gain the basics of shop floor safety, operation of manual milling, lathe machines and introduction to CNC machining.

SIX SIGMA WHITE BELT CERTIFICATION & INTRODUCTION TO LEAN MANUFACTURING

The Six Sigma White Belt is designed to provide the basic level of understanding of the Six Sigma Methodology. You will gain an understanding of basic definitions, history, and structure of the discipline. This certification is the entry level belt program that provides the foundation for the Six Sigma doctrine and principles.
