Gateway Community College Gender Equity Center Events Raise Awareness about Domestic Violence

Thursday, October 3, 2019

Activities aimed to raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence are taking place throughout the month of October at Gateway Community College (GCC).

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and GCC’s Gender Equity Center is providing educational opportunities so that students can learn how to support survivors of domestic violence and be a part of the solution to this societal problem.  Students are invited to drop in at the Gender Equity Center, Room N110, and pick up a purple ribbon to wear as a show of support for the cause and join in any of the programs.
