A free summer program is giving community colleges students at Gateway (GCC) and Housatonic (HCC), who are considering careers in medicine the chance to fully explore the field on the campus of GCC’s Ivy League neighbor.

Early Learning Center Celebrates 35 Years

GCC's Early Learning Center has been serving the community with high quality pre-school instruction for 35 years.
Gateway Community College (GCC) is offering a free educational seminar entitled, “Estate Planning for a Loved One With Special Needs” from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 in room N102 at 20 Church Street, New Haven.
February is Black History Month, a month-long celebration honoring the many extraordinary contributions and accomplishments of African Americans to U.S. history, and Gateway Community College (GCC) has numerous events planned as a tribute.
Students considering enrolling in college courses are now able to choose from among 64 late-start, accelerated courses offered at Gateway Community College (GCC). The late-start classes will begin on Feb. 7 and run through May 18, providing students the option of an accelerated pace and the same number of credits they would earn in traditional courses.
A new series entitled, “Everyone Gets a Job; Exploring Career and Technical Educational Opportunities,” featuring faculty members and career advisors from Gateway Community College (GCC) will be presented by the Hamden Department of Economic Development and Neighborhood Revitalization (Hamden EDC).
