Your Transfer & Re-Admit Advising Session
At transfer or re-admit advising, students will:

Review previous credits taken at Gateway or other institutions (please be sure to bring unofficial transcripts from any other college besides Gateway to receive accurate advising); and

Receive academic advising to understand program requirements and select classes.
Making an Advising Appointment
Contact the Student Success Center to schedule an advising appointment. You will need:

Your Student (Banner) ID number This can be found on your Admissions letter in the top right-hand corner.

Your Transcripts Unofficial copies may be used for advising purposes. Please bring a copy of any non-Gateway transcripts to your advising appointment.
When Should I Contact Advising?
Students should schedule an advising appointment after they have:

Completed the Admissions Process and any Requirements

Submitted official academic transcripts to Admissions (for official recognition of credits), if applicable, and
-
Taken their Placement tests (if Math and English have not been taken at another college).
