Electronic Health Records and Coding

Interested in a career in electronic health records? Gateway Community College has the solution! Gateway offers an Associate in Science degree in Electronic Health Records and Coding. Students will be able to:

  • Earn college credit for work experience
  • Participate in internships with area employers
  • Develop Administrative Procedures knowledge
  • Understand insurance requirements
  • Learn ICD-10 Medical Coding Systems

Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to take the Certified Professional Coder Exam offered through the AAPC.
