College Career Pathways (formerly Tech Prep)
Currently no new students will be admitted to the Gateway CCP program for 2014. Students entering their senior year will continue with CCP course credits for the Fall 2014/Spring 2015 academic year.
The College Career Pathways (CCP) program is a course of study designed to encourage and prepare Connecticut Technical High School (CTHS) students to pursue an associate or baccalaureate degree in their chosen technical area. Through a planned sequence of academic and technical courses, College Career Pathways prepares students for the advanced courses required by two-year and four-year colleges. Students formally enroll in a community college and register for articulated academic and technical courses. Students have the opportunity to earn up to fourteen college credits in a non-duplicative sequence of coursework. These colleges are: Capital Community College, Gateway Community College, Housatonic Community College, Manchester Community College, Quinebaug Valley Community College and Three Rivers Community College (see this page for more information).
