This course will cover product receiving, product storage, order processing, packaging and shipment, inventory control, safe handling of hazardous materials, evaluation of transportation modes, customs, and dispatch and tracking operations.

BLUE PRINT READING & SHIPPING  

Reading blueprints is a basic skill set required to be competitive in the industry. This course will provide the basic understanding of blueprints as they relate to construction projects and warehouse design. At the end of this class you will have the ability to answer basic questions related to the layout and installation of materials in a warehouse. The packaging and shipping of materials is an integral process in Supply Chain Management. In addition to print reading, you will also learn the fundamentals of crating products for shipment.
