he Yale@Gateway Speaker Series at Gateway Community Colelge (GCC), moderated by PBS Newshour’s Paul Solman, will begin on Monday October 24, 2016. David Brooks, distinguished Practitioner in Grand Strategy and current New York Times Op-Ed columnist will be speaking on the topic “Gateway to What?”
The word seems to be out according to a 2015 Higher Education trends report. Last year Gateway accepted 1,089 new transfer students, the largest number of incoming transfers from another institution of any community college in the state, and third out of all, behind UConn and Central Connecticut State University.
