The Payroll department is located within Human Resources. The primary function of the Payroll department is processing bi-weekly payments to employees of Gateway Community College. Employees may contact the department with questions regarding their salary or to complete the various forms available from our office. Such forms include Federal and State W-4 forms, Direct Deposit Authorization Agreement, Salary Amendment Agreement Form (for tax deferred products), and Change Of Address.
Rates of Pay and Payroll Procedures for 2016-2017
4C’s / AFT: If one has taught less than 18 credit hours in the Community College System, the pay is $1,546 per credit.
4C’s / AFT: If one has taught more than 18 credit hours in the Community College System, the pay is $1,663 per credit.

Student Employee pay is $9.60 per hour.
Student employees paid as Student Laborers are required to fill out blue biweekly timecards. Student Laborers cards should be submitted to supervisors for a signature.
Student employees paid through Financial Aid are required to fill out orange biweekly timecards. Those using Federal Work-study should turn their timecards into the Financial Aid Office.
Submit timecards to Human Resources Payroll. Timecards completed incorrectly will be returned to the supervisor for corrections. If timecards are submitted late, student employees will be paid with the next available pay period.
