A message from Dorsey L. Kendrick, Gateway Community College President
As the time for transition approaches, I know that many have been anxiously waiting to hear what the plans are for the college once I officially retire on July 1, 2017.
The Board of Regents for the Connecticut Colleges and Universities met recently, and I have been informed that Dr. Paul Brodie II, President of Housatonic Community College, has been appointed as interim President beginning July 1.
I have spoken with Dr. Broadie, and have committed to work with him in the transition from now until I leave. I am confident that he is committed to maintaining a sense of community, trust and sustainability of this college and its” community of learners.” The hallmark of our success has been keeping the work of our college and community at the forefront.
